The 2021/22 Pitching In Southern League season will get under way on Saturday, August 14.
The league confirmed the news today (Monday) as the decision to ‘curtail’ the 2020/21 campaign due to the Covid-19 pandemic gets set to be ratified this week.
Clubs from across Steps 3 to 6 gave their opinions to the Football Association about what they felt should become of the 2020/21 campaign earlier this year with the majority of teams not having played since the end of October.
In the end, a majority voted in favour of ending the season and that outcome is set to be confirmed on Thursday when the FA Council meets.
