Hide AdHenderson had threatened again just before Barsby broke the deadlock but Alfie Fryett, Finley Nottingham and Joseph Cox were all denied by Baston goalkeeper James Roberts.
The only opportunity of an equaliser fell to Oliver Tooth whose shot was held by Max Rigby at the near post.
Deeping manager David Henderson – who has twins Finlay and Harvey in the squad – said: “We lost in the League Cup final so we got revenge for that.
“I thought the boys were a bit tense in that game so I just told them to go out and enjoy it this time.
“They played good football and created more chances.
