PREVIEW: Sports could clinch the Premier Division title in Leicester
If Sports’ result at Leicester Nirvana betters Deeping Rangers’ result at Rothwell Corinthians, Jimmy Dean’s men will seal back-to-back UCL crowns. They ran away with the Division One title last season.
Sports have a 12-point lead over second-placed Deeping and a game in hand. Deeping can only reach 99 points by winning their final five games. Sports already have 96 points, and a vastly superior goal difference.

Hide AdIt would cap a great week for Sports who reached the Hinchingbrooke Cup Final and passed a ground inspection which now guarantees step four football at PSL next season. Sports have already sealed promotion by clinching a top three UCL Premier Division finish.
They shouldn’t expect any favours from Deeping tomorrow though. Michael Goode’s men beat Rothwell 6-0 at the Haydon Whitham Stadium last weekend (March 25).
Yaxley are under pressure for third place from Eynesbury. The Cuckoos have a tricky game tomorrow at home to Sileby, when Eynesbury host Holbeach United.
Spalding United have seven games in which to preserve a 10-point lead over those chasing a play-off place in Division One South of the Evo Stik Northern Premier Division. Tomorrow the Tulips are at mid-table Stocksbridge Park Steels.
