Posh draw another big game, excellent weekend for Girls United, Swans prove dangerous in Crowland, Peterborough Northern Star Reserves storm up the Premiership table

Claudia Harlow, Rebecca Moises and Molly Cunningham scored for Posh who remain second, a point behind Coton with a game in hand.

It was an excellent Cambs Girls League weekend for the recently formed Girls Utd club. The Under 12s maintained their unbeaten record in the North Division by seeing off city rivals Netherton 3-0. Harper Graham (2) and Phoebe Cooper scored the goals for the team in second place. And the under 14s grabbed a third win of the season in the North Division with a 3-1 success at Linton Aztecs. Taya Smith (2) and Lola Green were their scorers.

Netherton’s perfect winning record in the Under 13 North Division stretched to eight matches with an easy win over bottom club Godmanchester. Aisha Hamza (5) and Maddison Parry (4) dominated the scoring in a 19-0 win.

Hampton Pink Swans inflicted just a second Under 13 North defeat of the season on Crowland. It finished 3-1 with Amelia McCourt (2) and Sammie Lee scoring for the winners. Violet Cook replied for Crowland.

Peterborough Northern Star Reserves continued their charge up the Premiership with 4-2 and 7-1 wins over Netherton and Fulbourn respectively. Evie Driscoll-KIng scored four against Fulbourn with Katie Steward hitting a hat-tyrick against Netherton.
