POSH BOSS SEARCH: MacAnthony rules out peoples' choice
Cotterill, who won the League One title with Bristol City last season, but is currently out of work, finished top of a Peterborough Telegraph poll to find the manager our readers wanted. Current caretaker-manager Grant McCann finished second.
But during a Twitter exchange with fans last night (April 28) MacAnthony said: “Steve is a superb manager, but he’s not hot on youth so he’s probably not a great fit for us.”

MacAnthony also ruled out a managerial job-share between McCann and current goal-keeping coach Mark Tyler.
Evans remains the favourite for the job at 7/4 with Sky Bet, Cotterill is 3/1 with McCann at 4/1.
Adrian Pennock, who was sacked by National League side Forest Green this week, has entered the betting at 16/1, while former Posh boss Mark Cooper is now listed at 20/1, the same price as former Forest manager Gary Megson.
