Central defenders Michael Bostwick and Jack Baldwin can share the Peterborough Telegraph man-of-the-match honours.

Luke McGee: A very easy return to the side against poor opposition, Well protected by the back four 6

Michael Smith: Dominant defensively and joined in the odd attack second half. Delivered a great cross that Mackail-Smith should have converted late on 6.5

Jerome Binnom-Williams: Nervous first-half, but did well after the break when he used his speed and strength to cause problems going forward 6.5

Michael Bostwick: Powerful, committed and brave. A typical Bostwick performance which included a couple of fine blocks 7.5

Jack Baldwin: His best defensive effort for a while. Won some key headers when long throws were hurled into the Posh penalty are. Rock solid alongside Bostwick 7.5

Anthony Grant: He’s a clever player whose major flaw is holding onto the ball for a bit too long, but he is good protection for the back four thanks to sound positioning and calmness 6.5

Chris Forrester: It’s not happening for him, although he almost scored with a 25-yard screamer in the second-half. Too easily knocked off the ball 5

Leo Da Silva Lopes: Found it hard to pass to his own side, but kept working hard on his 50th Posh appearance. Substituted early in second half 5

Marcus Maddison: A poor set-piece performance and his general use of the ball was ropey 5

Tom Nichols: Injured early on and substituted

Craig Mackail-Smith: Poorly served, struggled to make an impact, off-side too often, should have scored in the second half 5

Paul Taylor: (for Da Silva Lopes, 57 mins): He added pace and directness to the side. Quality was lacking though 5.5

Junior Morias: (for Nichols, 20 minutes): Quiet until he won the game in magnificent style 6

Andrew Hughes: (for Mackail-Smith, 90 mins).
