Appearances and goals are for League One matches only. The rating key: A-Excellent, B-Very good, C-Good, D- Poor, E-Dreadful.
5. Mo Eisa. Grade: B. Appearances: 28 Goals: 13
Its true the club record signing is enduring a flat run of form which doesnt look like ending any time soon, but his contribution to the campaign has to be determined on the whole season, not part of it, and the strikers steady supply of goals was key to the strong run of results leading up to Christmas. His confidence is currently shot which is a big shame.
6. Christy Pym. Grade B: Appearances: 33 Goals: 0
The goalkeeper is the only ever present in the Posh squad and hes survived some bumpy days to maintain that record. His most recent run of form has been his best of the season and hes regularly shown the athleticism required to overcome the physical disadvantages he has compared to other keepers. Pym has turned into a decent recruit
7. Josh Knight. Grade B. Appearances: 23 Goals: 3
The on-loan Leicester City player is a machine. Hes taken a conversion from centreback to central midfield in his impressive stride thanks to his speed, stamina and running power. Knight is not the most technically gifted midfielder, but his energy alongside Taylor gives Posh a fitness edge compared to the other
promotion battlers.
8. Siriki Dembele. Grade A. Appearances: 23 Goals: 5
The flying forwards season has come alive since turning into a central striker rather than a winger. His pace has helped him to become a fantastic attacking foil for Toney and a useful outlet when Posh need to relieve pressure. From being an under-employed substitute, Dembele now looks like being one of the key men in the promotion run-in.
