On May 3, Posh will Posh fans, players and staff will come together for the end of season awards and to to crown, amongst others, the Posh Goal of the Season.
Last season, Jack Taylor scooped the prize for his first-time strike from range right into the top corner in the 2-1 away at Hull in October only to go and score a better effort in the 5-0 demolition of Blackpool on the final day.
Taylor looks to be out of the running this year but who does the PT think scored the best Posh goal this season, find out below.
5. 2nd – Ephron Mason-Clark vs Accrington (H), Oct 25
Only just beaten into second was the strike Mason-Clark fired into the top corner against Accrington. He was fed after a driving Taylor run, he took a couple of touches to come inside from the left before firing a shot, which went like a tracer bullet, diagonally into the top left corner. 6. 1st – Hector Kyprianou vs Forest Green (A), Feb 4
The PT prize goes to Kyprianou for his audacious effort in the 95th minute. With every Posh fan screaming ‘keep it in the corner' one of the most unlikely men on the pitch to do it, pulled off a brilliant turn away from two men, powered into the box and hit a stunner into the roof of the net to secure three points. The shock factor pushes it into top spot. Photo: Joe Dent
