Posh are languishing in 18th place in League One after two successive forays into the play-offs.
Those who have joined Posh since the end of last season can be given time to come good, but how successful have the signings made between June 2022 and February 2024 been?
There were 23 of them including six goalkeepers! Some of them are still at London Road, for now at least.
Signing date in () and success rating out of 10.
5. Lucas Bergstrom (1/7/22) – 4/10.

6. Ephron Mason-Clark (22/8/22) – 9/10.
Awesome power forward who has been badly missed at Posh this season. Now with Championship club Coventry City. Photo: David Lowndes
7. Kell Watts (1/9/22) – 2/10.
Slow and injury prone centre-back who came to Posh on loan from Newcastle United, but started just 5 League One games. Now at Cambridge United. Photo: Joe Dent
8. Will Norris (6/1/23) – 6/10.
Goalie who helped Posh into the play-offs without ever totally convincing. Won League One title with Portsmouth last season. Still at Pompey, but available for transfer. Photo: Joe Dent
