A win could get Posh out of the relegation zone as long as Reading are beaten at Preston North End.
A defeat and Posh would drop to next-to-bottom in the table with away fixtures at top two Fulham (February 23) and Bournemouth (March 8) looming.
Sadly midfielders Jack Taylor and Harrison Burrows remain on the injury list as does centre-back Mark Beevers. Teenage defender Ronnie Edwards is available again.
I’ve stuck with a 4-3-3 formation.

9. JOE WARD
The right winger has put together decent back-to-back performances in a system and position that suits him. Derby play with wing-backs so there could be space for him to exploit.

10. JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS
The centre forward still divides Posh opinion, but he's done okay in the last two games and his worth to the side showed when he went off for the final 10 minutes against Reading as his teammates couldn't hold the ball up without him. Playing someone close to him could help.

11. JACK MARRIOTT
There's an argument for using the speed of Callum Morton alongside Clarke-Harris, but three centre-backs will offer little space so the more astute running of Marriott, who should be highly motivated by a return to his former club, might be more effective. Morton can come on against tiring legs later in the game.

12. THE SUBSTITUTES
Morton is joined on my bench by Ricky-Jade Jones, Sammie Szmodics, Kwame Poku, Mumba, Dai Cornell and Jorge Grant.
