The real Posh manager Darren Ferguson has tried many permutations of player and formation so our 4-5-1 (4-3-3) system shouldn’t be discounted.
The only Posh player to appear in all 20 Championship matches this season is on our bench as we employ a summer signing with a particular skill.
5. JOSH KNIGHT
Barnsley were awful up front last weekend, but that's not Knight's fault. He delivered his best defensive display of the season and he has to stay in given the poor recent form of rival centre-backs Frankie Kent and Mark Beevers.
6. CONOR COVENTRY
It's been perm two from any three of Coventry, Oliver Norburn and Jack Taylor this season, but why not play all three? It would reduce the space enjoyed by opposition midfielders all too often this season for a start.
7. OLIVER NORBURN
With three in midfield, Norburn won't have to try and cover too much ground chasing slick-passing opponents.
8. JACK TAYLOR
Coventry and Norburn can shield the centre-backs leaving Taylor to get further forward. His shooting accuracy and power is needed in a team struggling to score goals.
