Here are Peterborough United’s most important successes.
A magnificent seven of them.

5: March 27, Posh 7, Accrington 0: Posh had just suffered two disappointing results at Rochdale and Blackpool when Ferguson sat the players down at the training ground and a plan was laid out for the rest of the season. Posh were fortunate they were next facing an Accrington side with many unavailabilities, but Fergie's side set about them in an impressively ruthless fashion as Clarke-Harris scored twice in the first nine minutes. He later completed his hat-trick with Szmodics scoring twice and substitutes Mo Eisa and Idris Kanu also on target. It was a much-needed confidence boost at the end of a tough month. 6: Fleetwood 0, Posh 1: Posh didn't generally enjoy trips to Fleetwood and their record at Easter wasn't great so Jonson Clarke's 89th minute goal from a free-kick was a real Good Friday fillip. Main promotion rivals Sunderland and Hull had also grabbed late winners so the Clarke-Harris strike was crucial as it kept Posh five points clear of the Wearsiders ahead of a crunch game on Easter Monday. 7: April 24, Charlton 0, Posh 1: Serene progress towards automatic promotion was rudely interrupted by a shock home defeat at the hands of Gillingham and the alarm bells would surely have been ringing loudly if a second loss in a row arrived at in-form play-off chasers Charlton. But Posh started brightly, scored early through Clarke-Harris and won rather cosily after on-loan goalkeeper Josef Bursik had made a brilliant penalty save. The win set up the fantastic scenes at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday. Bursik is pictured saving Jayden Stockley's penalty. Photo: Joe Dent/theposh.com.
