Here are 10 memorable victories from that spell in charge plus two previous short spells as Posh caretaker manager...
9. 26/12/2017 Bradford City 1, Posh 3
A rare Boxing Day success for Posh at a promotion rival. Danny Lloyd opened the scoring before Jack Marriott (pictured) struck twice.
10. 6/1/2018 Aston Villa 1, Posh 3
Posh delivered a superb display in a third round FA Cup tie at Villa Park after falling behind to an early goal against the Championship promotion favourites. Goals from Jack Marriott (2) and Ryan Tafazolli (pictured) turned the game on its head in the final 15 minutes. Posh were thumped at home by Leicester City in the fourth round and, seven weeks after beating Villa, McCann was sacked.
