Peterborough United fans delivered sympathy and scorn for red card recipient Ethan Hamilton following last night’s 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Hull City (March 9).

Others questioned manager Darren Ferguson’s tactics and the lack of activity in the January transfer window was also mentioned in despatches.

I know Ethan Hamilton will get the blame, but he was playing well and his emergence since Taylor’s injury has been very welcome. Still such a young lad and will only improve. Has a big future ahead of him and needs to put this behind him as we’ll need him for the run in.
