Peterborough United fans delivered some harsh player ratings following yesterday’s 2-0 League One defeat at Shrewsbury (January 30) with all scores from 1/10 to 5/10 covered!

The PT didn’t ask a specific question following the game, but the comments to @PTAlanSwann on Twitter flowed in anyway.

Awful performance. Can’t expect the centre backs to bail us out every game. No creativity. Three games without a goal. Hope we can do something on Monday. Look what the Shrews brought in. Can’t expect other results to go our way every week.

Been saying for months we are a JCH injury away from a poor season. Days like today highlight the lack of strength in depth especially when players are out of form.

@nonecksomesense

Even before today’s poor performance we needed 2 quality players in this transfer window. One in midfield and a forward.

@RayEllis17

Very flat from us today. That’s 3 games without scoring. I think we need JCH, Dembele and Sammie to play closer together as all 3 were isolated today. Didn’t stick up top at all today which in turn makes our front 3 blunt. Shrewsbury deserved their win. They were fresher as well.

@scarboroughsss

Angle not great on iFollow, but I think Pym will be disappointed letting the first goal in at his near post.

Your player marks were fair. A really flat performance all round. Don’t get much luck at Shrewsbury, but needed to give more than that. Dembele very poor again. Starting to get worried. When Toney had offers he upped his game further. Hope Taylor was just a minor knock. We need him fit. Still convinced we’ll go up mind. Would rather sell Dembele and reinvest in a couple of new additions than watch him fizzle out and go for less in the summer.

@poshforever2

Player ratings? Easy.

3 across the board with Hamilton scoring 1 sadly.

1 step forward, 2 steps back is not only how it feels this week has gone, but how we attacked today. Looking for Beevers to supply a killer pass? Really?

@adi_mowles

No-one emerged with any credit, your player marks are generous!

@EasterlyView

No-one should have scored more than 2/10 apart from Pym.

@Alexnelson2004

Players froze playing on an actual pitch.

@elitelawnmain

My marks: Pym 6, Mason 6, Thompson 6, Beevers 6, Ward 5, Taylor 5, Hamilton 6, Butler 5, Dembele 6, JCH 5, Smodzic 5, Kanu 5, Brown 5, RJJ 5, Eisa 5, Blake Tracy 6. Ferguson 5.

@Rutlandspinner

No one worth more than a five.

@capper_mike

3/4 out of 10 all round.

The Shrews worked much harder than Posh. No given right to win matches and today is the evidence.
@trustchairman

Some of the players aren’t working hard enough.

@KyleOSullivan13

Posh were not so pretty in pink.
