The game finished 1-1 with Posh improving after a couple of substitutions early in the second-half.
Ratings key: 10-Brilliant, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Dreadful.
5.
MARK BEEVERS: Excellent from the skipper who dominated two big, but very limited strikers. Another whose experience will be vital in the last month of the season 8.5
6.
JACK TAYLOR: Played with the calm assurance Posh fans have come to expect, but his decision to play rather than clear his lines 10 minutes from time cost his side dear. He lost possession and then conceded the free-kick which McGeady converted. Passed the ball consistently better than any other Posh player 7.
7.
LOUIS REED: Too often caught in possession and gave it away occasionally in dangerous areas. Deserved his yellow card and he deserved to be substituted early in the second half 5.
8.
JOE WARD: Came alive in the second-half to cause Sunderland some problems. Played a small part in the Posh goal. Never neglected his defensive duties 7.
