Posh made a good fist of the first half and even created the better chances but as the second wore on, the visitors began to take control. Posh were able to ride out the storm though and shut out a Bournemouth side that boasted the likes of Jamal Lowe, Dominic Solanke and David Brooks.
9. JORGE GRANT
Looked certain to score when Burrows put a ball onto the centre spot but couldn't convert with Cahill in close attendance. A few too many loose passes. 6.
10. HARRISON BURROWS.
Was positive to see a Posh player so keen to get his head up and get balls into the box, something the side needs more of. Needs to improve his hold up play though, as the ball needed to stick up top more in tight moments and delivered some poor set pieces. 6.5
11. JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS
Posh rarely looked like they would find the net and JCH's lack of movement didn't help in that. A few too many quick passes late in the game when Posh were under pressure aswell, had to keep the ball better. 6.
12. CONOR COVENTRY
(for Taylor 63 mins) Provided an injection into the Posh midfield and got around the pitch better than a flagging Taylor at a time Posh were just beginning to struggle. 7.
