Posh were pitiful at Priestfield in the first-half before turning on the style with three goals in the first 21 minutes of the second-half.
There were some dogged defensive displays before the break before the attacking players strutted their stuff after the break.

JOE WARD: He struggled at wing-back in the first-half. He didn't find a lot of space and when he did the cross was usually poor. But my word what a transformation after the break when he ran Gillingham ragged with pace and skill. Sent many dangerous crosses into the area and a splendid assist for the third goal 8.

DAN BUTLER: Hugged the left touchline in plenty of space in the first-half, but his teammates couldn't find him often enough. Battled well against a talented winger in the second half. 7

REECE BROWN: Lethargic and casual before the break. Moved the ball briskly and accurately after the break. 7

JACK TAYLOR: Initially found it a struggle like the rest of the team and conceded the free kick and then the penalty that gave Gillingham the lead. Very good once the team changed shape. Played a big part in the second goal and became more dominant in midfield the longer the game wore on 7.
