Posh star wins goal of the month prize
Peterborough United midfielder Jack Taylor has won the League One goal of the month prize for February.
Taylor picked up 46% of a public vote for his long-range strike in the 3-0 win at Plymouth Argyle to beat off opposition from Gillingham’s Connor Ogilvie and James Coppinger of Doncaster.
Taylor said: “I was really pleased with the goal, I caught it really sweetly and I was delighted to see it find the top corner. Most importantly it helped us get three points. I want to thank everyone who took the time to vote for me, it is really appreciated.”
Taylor is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.
