Posh fans served up praise for Butler and described the team performance as far prettier than the battleground of a pitch

Peterborough United fans raved about left wing-back Dan Butler’s performance in the 2-0 League One win over Crewe at the Weston Homes Stadium yesterday (February 6).

Indeed The PT man at the match was criticised for scoring Butler ‘only’ 7.5/10, a rating between ‘good’ and ‘very good’.

Sammie Szmodics, Jack Taylor, Reece Brown and Mark Beevers all received man-of-the-match nominations which was an indication of how strong the all-round performance was.
