A nervy, and last-gasp, win at Fleetwood hasn’t diluted the confidence.

Matchwinner Jonson Clarke-Harris and midfielder Louis Reed vied for man-of-the-match honours from the Posh fans.

The PT asked fans to sum up yesterday’s win, name a man-of-the-match and predict the result against Sunderland.

Grinding out wins is how you win leagues. It doesn’t have to be pretty and it doesn’t haven’t to be MOTD worthy. Getting all 3 points is key.

@mattmecham

Taylor should have started. Lucky. Last ditch defending great. MOM Thompson

Excellent win on the road and all the more important with Hull and Sunderland also winning. I think we will beat Sunderland 2-0. They won’t fancy our pitch and as we know at home we are strong. That said we need to be better than yesterday.

@lowestoftposh

MOM Reed for me, controlled the game very well. Score prediction for Sunderland game is 3-2 to Posh.

@EspieJaz

Mom JCH for being the match winner. 2-0 Posh v Sunderland.

@CrispLevi

MOM Louis Reed, another decent performance.

@Mark9697

MOM JCH just for scoring like that!

@dazposhie

JCH MOM purely for the goal. What a signing. I’m going 1-1 on Monday.

@romysdad

I hope we smash Sunderland especially as they’d have been joint top instead of 3rd going into those last few minutes! Yet their fans claim ‘they don’t care’ about Posh and Hull going from 1 point each to 3. I’d hate to have fans who didn’t care about dropping 2 spots in just minutes.

@JakeBleu

MOM Beevers was solid today. Either 1-0 Posh or 1-1.

@jacobcr27518800

MOM JCH - ice cool in such a pressure situation to get the all important goal. As for Monday - best home record v best away record, highest scorers v the meanest defence. My heart says 2-1 Posh, my head says 1-1.

@PoshboyAlan

MOM JCH. Score v Sunderland 3-1.

@MichaelRutkows4

We have to stop the crosses, or we will lose 1-3 to Sunderland. Stop them and I will go for a 2-1 win. Massive game.

@CHAMM24

MOM Clarke Harris. If it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t have won. Sunderland prediction 1-1.

@Alexnelson2004

Monday’s game is huge but it’s still in our hands. It’s going to be a roller coaster end to the season.

@MNurrish

Cometh the hour, cometh the man. MOM JCH.

@dazposhie

All you can say is we got the job done. JCH’s through the eye of a needle free kick could turn out to be crucial. MOM JCH for that bit of magic.

@steverowell7f

The type of hard-fought win that earns eventual promotion. MOM JCH for goal alone.

@TobyWoody

Rode our luck at times, but who cares it’s all about the result right now? fancy us to edge it by the odd goal on Monday, 2-1.

@southlincsposh

A keep calm, big win. Reed MOM. massive game Monday. 2-0 Posh.

@PolhillMichael

Massive win. MOM Reed. Sets Monday up for biggest game of the season, a 6 pointer! I’m going for 2-1 Posh.

@JessicaaAC

Big win. Reed MOM. Tough game Monday, Posh to win 2-1. Last 3 games now look easier than they did a month ago.

@JG16_

Thompson MOM. He’s underrated playing at the heart of defence. Modern centre-back, very good on the ball, reads the game very well and comes out of defence with ball creating space behind opponents midfield. Think it will be 2-2 v Sunderland with us scoring in the last minute.
