Here are some of the players who have either already been released, or are expected to be released, by their current clubs.
Some are players recommended by Posh fans. Former Posh players are among those listed.
13. ANDREW HUGHES

14. NATHANAEL OGBETA
This left-back was an excellent loan signing for Posh from Swansea City in the second-half of the 2021-22 season. He played 20 times and scored once, but injury stopped him playing in the play-offs at the end of that season. Maybe he would have made a difference at Hillsborough? Ogbeta went on loan to Bolton the following season scoring twice in 17 appearances. He played in the play-off final defeat to Oxford at Wembley that season. Now he's just been released by Plymouth Argyle. Photo: David Lowndes
15. KYLE DEMPSEY
A 30 year-old midfielder who spent an unsuccessful loan spell at Posh in the second-half of the 2018-19 season. He's performed steadily at Bolton Wanderers since 2022, but is out of contract at the end of the season. He's been a bit part player with 'The Trotters' this season.
