FootballGroundMap.com compiled an overall rating of each ground based on a poll among hundreds of fans, presumably none of whom were present when MK Dons visited London Road for a League One play-off semi-final in 2011 or the two seasons in the Championship that followed, or the games against Rotherham, Coventry, Sunderland and Ipswich this season.
I have decided to right this obvious wrong and deliver my own verdict based on my own experiences at every League One ground.
Let me know what you think.

3rd. ROTHERHAM. When Posh fluked a 1-0 win at the New York Stadium a few years back I was struck by how noisily hostile the atmosphere was. Another fine stadium that would suit Posh's needs.

2nd: LINCOLN CITY. I know the air raid siren is irritating, but it's just a bit of fun. I have been at Sincil Bank when the crowd has been tiny and now Imps fans turn out in force. The atmosphere for the JPT quarter-final tie the other year was fantastic and it wasn't bad on New Year's Day 2020 either.

1st PORTSMOUTH. I agree with Groundmap's top atmosphere rating. Fratton Park is a wonderful old stadium full of passionate fans. It's a pleasure to visit.
