Posh looked set to fall to an undeserved defeat when conceding a 90th minute goal to a shot from the halfway line, but substitute Matt Garbett popped up to make it 2-2 in the 94th minute.
It was a reward for another hard-running display under new manager Robbie Savage.
RATINGS KEY: 10-Out of this World, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Stinker.
9. OWURA EDWARDS
Took up a great position to open the scoring from close range. Should have added another one in the first-half. A threat in behind without finding the killer cross. Substituted second-half - 6.5 Photo: David Lowndes
10. BOLU SHOFOWOKE
Struggled to make an impact against a couple of strong defenders - 6. Photo: Joe Dent
11. HARRY LEONARD
He battled gamely against bigger defenders after delivering a great cross for the opening goal. Denied a second-half goal by a good save and a surprise to see him taken off - 7. Photo: Joe Dent
12. MATT GARBETT (sub for Edwards, 68 mins).
Lost possession for the second Burton goal, but saved the day with a late equaliser. Photo: DAVID LOWNDES
