There were some outstanding individual displays.
Ratings key: 10-Brilliant, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Very Poor
9. SAMMIE SZMODICS
A livewire display from kick-off which included plenty of aggressive running and fine passing even before he claimed two goals in nine second-half minutes. He's clearly been inspired by the change of manager. Sponsors' man-of-the-match which was understandable 8.5. Photo: Joe Dent
10. RICKY-JADE JONES
This was a strong finish from another player who has shown more quality and power than would reasonably have been expected following his early-season injury. Created chances and his pass for Szmodics' first goal was beautifully executed 8. Photo: Joe Dent
11. JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS
Led the forward line and indeed the side well from the front. Took his goal superbly, held the ball up effectively and used it well, also spent a lot of time arguing with the referee which is part of the captain's job. 7.5. Photo: Joe Dent
12. JORGE GRANT
Sub for Fuchs (44 mins). Showed some neat touches during a rare appearance for this manager 7. Photo: Joe Dent
