In a game of fluctuating fortunes Posh trailed 1-0, but led 2-1 and 3-2 before securing a 4-3 win with a brilliantly taken last-gasp penalty from Ricky-Jade Jones.
There was however a clear man-of-the-match as winger Abraham Odoh bagged a first-half hat-trick and was also brought down for the match-winning penalty.
Ratings Key: 10-Out of this world, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Stinker.
5. SAM HUGHES
This was a drop from his usual levels. Crawley dragged the centre-back into places he didn't want to go and his passing was also sloppy at times. Limped off just past the hour mark - 5.5. Photo: David Lowndes
6. ARCHIE COLLINS
Battled away as usual, but Crawley were quicker and more inventive in midfield areas. Picked up a first-half caution and substituted for fresher legs after the break. Could have scored early in the second-half - 6 Photo: David Lowndes
7. HECTOR KYPRIANOU
Put under a lot of pressure at the start of both halves by a vibrant and athletic home side and he lost the ball a few times as a result. Settled down a bit once the home players tired to deliver a neat and tidy display in the latter stages - 5.5 Photo: David Lowndes
8. MALIK MOTHERSILLE
Aside from one lovely pass that contributed to the third Posh goal it was an off-night for a player who had been in good form. Gave a goal away at the start of the second-half with a terrible back-pass. Substituted 20 minutes from time - 5. Photo: Darren Wiles
