Peterborough United's players made mistakes at both ends of the pitch in defeat to Wigan Athletic

Posh started poorly but created chances to get themselves back into the game, yet failed to take them.

RATINGS KEY: 10-Brilliant, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Awful

13. CIAN HAYES (for Kyprianou 29 mins)

Injected some pace and trickery into the Posh attack. A forced but beneficial addition. Looked the most likely of any Posh player to create something. 7. Photo: Joe Dent

14. JACK SPARKES (for Curtis 72 mins)

A slight improvement on Posh's makeshift left back. Tried to look forward more but couldn't make much happen alone. 5. Photo: Joe Dent

15. DAVID AJIBOYE (for Dornelly 72mins)

Came on in part of an effort to make the side more attacking. Just ended up well out of position to allow McManaman all the space he wanted to fire in the third. 5. Photo: Joe Dent
