Posh led 1-0 at the break thanks to a Jonson Clarke-Harris goal, but lost their way in the second perios and let the hosts back in with a penalty after a goalkeeping mistake and a bit of dozy defending.
Mostly, one eleven played for around 55 minutes until Darren Ferguson withdrew them early in favour of a second originally scheduled to play the final 30.
Nicholas Bilokapic and Peter Kioso appeared in Posh colours for the first time.
The players are listed below in the order of the side that began the game followed by the one that ended it.
17. PETER KIOSO (on 30 mins)
Only just getting his pre-season going. Unsurprisingly, looked better in the first half then the second. Played both right wing-back and right back and made key blocks on more than one occasion. 6.5. Photo: Joe Dent
18. JEANDO FUCHS (on 55 mins)
Didn't look at it. Caught dawdling on the ball and making loose passes a few times. Almost cost Posh a goal on one such occasion. 5. Photo: Joe Dent
19. ARCHIE COLLINS (on 55 mins)
Tried to get things going in midfield but found things tough. 6. Photo: Joe Dent
20. JOEL RANDALL (on 55 mins)
Not exactly his fault but made virtually no impact on the game. 5.5. Photo: Joe Dent
