Peterborough United’s London Road End could become a place for cheap seats, if the club’s request to keep a terrace in the Championship fails
Under current EFL rules Posh won’t be able to use a terrace in the second tier, but the club will ask for dispensation due to the financial issues caused by Covid.
“We may as well ask the question,” Posh co-owner Darragh MacAnthony said. “Maybe someone will take pity on us because of the financial hardship all football clubs have suffered.

“It’s likely we would put bolt-on, temporary seats at that end. We would try and do it as cheap as possible. We certainly wouldn’t be spending silly money.”
Posh are hoping to move to a brand new stadium on the Embankment in the near future.
