League One clubs are expected to curtail the current campaign next Tuesday (June 9) which means the Posh season would be over as they would miss out on the play-offs. Five of their remaining nine fixtures were scheduled for the Weston Homes Stadium.

Posh have 3,758 season ticket holders. They have so far sold 2,400 for next season. The first discount period for 2020-21 season tickets has been extended until June 30.

Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony said: “We are currently working on a compromise deal for season ticket holders missing the last five matches and details will be announced after Tuesday’s vote.

“The club have been touched by the support they’ve received during this difficult time. Fans have continued to buy season tickets and merchandise.

“Obviously if we have to start next season with a reduced capacity season ticket holders will get priority to watch the games.”

Many Posh season ticket holders have already said they are not interested in refunds for the 2019-20 season, Some intend to demand refunds from the EFL.
