Peterborough United Women sign off for their league campaign for Christmas with another fine victory
Peterborough United Women have kept themselves top of the Women’s National League Division One Midlands after a 4-0 win over Kidderminster Harriers.
Posh’s league campaign now takes a break until January 4 with Posh’s final league fixture of 2025 being a fine victory at PIMS Park on Sunday (December 7).

Posh are one point clear of Boldmere St Michaels with a game in hand and will be top at Christmas if Boldmere fail to beat Lincoln United next Saturday.
Skipper Keir Perkins, Courtney Clarke, Jess Rousseau and substitute Kira Rai were all on the scoresheet for Jake Poole’s side.
Posh dominated from start to finish against a Kidderminster side content to sit in a low block and try to contain Posh.
Posh nearly had the lead after seven minutes though when Clarke’s well-struck effort from range hit the crossbar but it did take Posh until the second half to get the breakthrough when Perkins guided the ball into the net after Poppie Brown was denied by the goalkeeper.
Brown was on the pitch after coming as a first half substitute for Niamh Reynolds.
On 56 minutes, Posh doubled the lead and it was Clarke with it as she let fly from distance and saw the effort arc into the corner.
It was 3-0 on 64 minutes as Rousseau danced her way into the box and squeezed her shot through the legs of the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.
Perkins and Osker were both denied before substitute Kira RAI made it 4-0, finding the corner after a good run across her defender.
Posh’s final game of the year will be their FA Cup third round tie away at Burnley Sunday (December 14).
