Peterborough United will learn their next EFL Trophy opponents on Friday and here’s who they could play

The draw for the first knockout round of the Papa John Trophy will take place on Friday (November 20, 6.15pm).

Posh finished runners-up in their group to neighbours Cambridge United so will have an away tie, probably on Tuesday, December 8.

Qualifying teams are still split into North and South sections with Posh in the latter group. Their potential opponents in the round of 32 are West Ham Under 21s, Arsenal Under 21s, MK Dons, Oxford, Exeter, Cheltenham and Leyton Orient.

The draw will be conducted live on TalkSPORT 2.

Posh won the EFL Trophy in 2014 after a 3-1 win over Chesterfield at Wembley.
