Peterborough United will host League Two side in opening round of the Carabao Cup

The tie will take place week beginning August 7.

Posh will seek to improve on a dreadful record of losing in the first round of the competition in six of the last nine seasons, although they did win at Plymouth Argyle in the first round last season.

The first round draw was regionalised.

Premier League teams not competing in Europe next season enter the competition at the second round stage.

The rest of the Premier League sides are included in the third round draw.
