Peterborough United to honour Tommy Robson at their League One clash with Oxford United

Peterborough United will honour club legend Tommy Robson at their League One fixture with Oxford United at the Weston Homes Stadium tomorrow (October 17).

Robson passed away aged 76 last week.

Two large flags will be displayed in the North Stand from a fund set up by Posh Supporter Tommy Roberts which quickly raised £2,000.

The number 11 Posh shirt bearing Robson’s name will be laid in the centre circle during a pre-match minute’s silence.

The same shirt was displayed along with a number 11 Northampton shirt at last week’s derby match. It will be placed in the the stand during Saturday’s match.

Posh players also hope to have a tribute on their matchday shirts.

Robson’s family have been invited to tomorrow’s match.
