Peterborough United supremo Darragh MacAnthony has confirmed season ticket holders will get free access to streaming service iFollow so they can watch games that are played behind closed doors.

Season ticket holders will be given codes for ifollow,” MacAnthony said on his popular ‘Hard Truth’ podcast. “It’s £10 a go for other fans which is too cheap in my opinion, especially when three or more people are sitting in the same room watching the same stream.

“I would also urge our fans to sign in to games through our stream as there is a 70-30 split in terms of the money generated.

“Sunderland’s 30,000 fans will still generate a decent sum. Our fans are loyal, but there obviously aren’t that many of them.”

The free offer for season ticket holders will stand until grounds are back up to full capacity.

Posh have been streaming their pre-season friendlies and will do so again for the final ones of the summer against Coventry at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday (August 29).

Posh are playing the Championship club twice with kick off times at 1pm and 3.20pm.

The stream is available for £5 if purchased before 10am on Saturday when the price will rise to £7.50.
