Peterborough United striker could miss the rest of 2020
The 17 year-old is to have an operation on his leg which will kep him out for two-to-three months.
Posh manager Darren Ferguson explained: “We sent Ricky to a consultant on Monday about an issue he’s been having, something similar to a dead leg.

Hide Ad“And the consultant’s advice is for a small operation to get rid of the problem. It will mean two-to-three months on the sidelines, but he will then be fresh and raring to go for the last 20 matches or so.
“It’s blow for him and for us because he is the striker who gives us great pace. That’s what makes him different to the other forwards.
“I won’t be seeking a replacament. I still have three good strikers and I can push Sammie Szmodics or Flynn Clarke up there.”
