Hide AdFerguson said: “I’m delighted for Kwame. He’s been out standout player this season and for a winger to be the joint-top scorer in the division is a tremendous effort. Kwame has taken on more responsibility this season. He’s become more vocal and more mature. He is a quiet lad, but when he does speak he usually makes good sense.”
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL ‘expert’ Don Goodman, EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
The League One manager of the month winner for September was Steve Brice of Blackpool. He beat Matt Bloomfield (Wycombe Wanderers), Nigel Clough (Mansfield Town) and Chris Davies (Birmingham City).
Posh striker Ricky-Jade Jones was the September winner of the WM Legal ‘Player-of-the-Month’ prize and received his award last Saturday.
