Peterborough United spent close to £200k on agents, the sixth highest amount among League One clubs

Peterborough United spent £185,293 on player agent fees between February 1, 2020 and February 1, 2021.

That was the sixth highest amount spent by a League One club after Hull City (£543,238), Sunderland (£406,207), Ipswich Town (£341,624), Oxford United (£298,576) and Charlton Athletic (£213,537).

Posh spent an almost identical amount (£186,744) in the previous 12 months.

In total League One clubs spent just over £3 million on agent and intermediary fees. Gillingham didn’t spend a single penny, while Crewe Alexandra spent just £4,500.

Biggest spenders on agents in the country were Chelsea who forked out over £35 million!
