Here are our suggestions! There are former Posh players and future top-class stars amongst them.
Let us know which League One players you think Posh boss Darren Ferguson could sign to enhace his current squad.
13.
MK Dons: RHYS HEALEY has emerged as a strong League One striker this season. Scoring goals in a poor side is never easy, but Healey (white) has managed a dozen in just 21 appearances. | jpress Photo: atex.scriptmanager
14.
Oxford United: CAMERON BRANNAGAN is a midfield dynamo who scored two winning goals against Posh in August. | Joe Dent/JMP Photo: Midlands
15.
Portsmouth: JOHN MARQUIS needs to play right up top behind creative midfielders and he hasn't had that at Pompey this season. The centre-forward and Darren Ferguson have a high regard for each other from their time at Doncaster together so a cheeky bid might be in order. | Joe Dent/JMP Photo: Midlands
16.
Rochdale: CALLUM CAMPS was a Posh target of the past, but the midfielder wanted to stay up North. After another season of struggle at Spotland he might now have changed his mind. | PA Wire Photo: PA
