The defence for one looked shaky at times and Wycombe will provide a much sterner test despite their lowly position in the table. For this reason, the PT has made one change to the preferred line-up.

5. NATHAN THOMPSON
Had some rust to shake off in the last match and has hopefully done so now. The strength of his performances the last time Posh were at this level should not be forgotten. It always feels more secure to have a natural defender at full-back and it frees up Joe Ward at the top end of the pitch. Photo: Joe Dent

6. JEANDO FUCHS
Fuchs has looked dominant against some tough rugged opponents this season. McCann was very wise to get him off before he could pick up a 5th yellow card and incur a suspension last time out. Photo: Joe Dent

7. HARRISON BURROWS
He did well in the midfield against Forest Green and will have gained confidence from the goal so I would keep him in the side ahead of Ben Thompson. Posh have needed a bit more of a creative spark in midfield at times this season and he could grow into that role nicely. Photo: Joe Dent

8. JACK TAYLOR
Has been impressive in recent weeks, has shown some nice touches and killer passes but also willing to get involved in the defensive dirty work. Photo: Joe Dent
