Peterborough United should forget about the FA Cup and look back on the last league game for Exeter selection

Peterborough United shouldn’t be too worried about individual performances from the FA Cup draw against Salford but instead, revert back to what has worked so well in League One.

There were several below-par performances as Posh laboured to a 0-0 at home to Salford in the FA Cup last time out but Posh should not dwell on that as they look forward to Saturday’s match against Exeter.

The free-scoring Grecians have taken to life in League One rather well and sit 12th so Posh will need to put in another improved away performance.

With centre-back Frankie Kent suspended there is a choice to make between Kell Watts, Ronnie Edwards and Josh Knight for two places in the side in the 4-3-3.

We’ve assumed wide man Joe Ward and Kwame Poku remain on the sidelines.
