Centre-back Nevett has been on the transfer list at London Road since the end of last season, while Posh are still hopeful of turning centre forward Kamara into a potent League One striker.

Tranmere have made several new signings since the end of a disappointing 2025-26 campaign. They are currently eighth having remained unbeaten in their first three matches.

Nevett has started two Posh games this season and both were won, against Mansfield Town in League One and Watford in the Carabao Cup. The 20 year-old has made 45 first-team appearances since moving to Posh from Rochdale in June, 2024.

Kamara has appeared off the substitutes’ bench in the two Posh Carabao Cup wins this season. He started four League One games last season and converted two penalties in a 5-0 rout of Rotherham United at the Weston Homes Stadium. The 20 year-old has played 13 times for Posh following a move from Welling in January, 2024.
