In League Two Danny Lloyd, who will face his old club Posh in an EFL Trophy quarter-final next month, scored for Tranmere in a 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers, while Tom Conlon netted for Port Vale in a 3-1 home defeat to Walsall.

Toumani Diagouraga was another ex-Posh midfielder to score in a 3-0 win for Morecambe over Colchester.

Ex-Posh youngster Lewis Freestone played for Cheltenham in their 3-1 FA Cup defeat at home to Manchester City.
