Posh were simply brushed aside by a Blackburn team who barely had to break sweat on Wednesday night (November 24) as consigned Posh to a third straight defeat.
Home has been a happier hunting ground though and Posh need to shake things up to keep it that way by going back to the 4-2-3-1 formation, which caused so many problems for the impressive Fulham.
The PT also believes that it is time for some fresh faces to come into the side as Posh should seek to play the game on the front foot in order to get back to winning ways against a side also struggling for confidence.

5. NATHAN THOMPSON
Has been one of the more consistent performers so I am willing to forgive his error against Blackburn. It was a bad one but Posh do need him to carry the ball forward. You would expect there to be more cover if he lost it out on the right as well.
6. JACK TAYLOR
He has to stay in the side but does really need to buck up his ideas as he has not yet taken to the Championship as well as he can or Posh fans expected him to. A back four may see him having to look after the defence a bit more but given the opposition, I would expect to see Posh play on the front foot and Taylor getting around to link both phases of the pitch.
7. CONOR COVENTRY
As Ferguson said after Blackburn, he has not had a run of games, so let's give him one. Norburn is a limited player with the ball at his feet and frequently looks for a backwards pass. He has had a minor dip over the last few games and could do with sitting this one out. Unleash the youthful energy of Coventry on the fellow strugglers.
8. HARRISON BURROWS
Burrows and Clarke-Harris have a good understanding when it comes to getting balls into the box and the youngster is certainly keen to do just that. Without the shackles of wing-back, Posh are more likely to see him at his best.
