For this reason, Posh need to be back to their best and play on the foot when Bristol Rovers visit the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday.
The Peterborough Telegraph proposes reverting to the successful 4-2-3-1 formation to achieve just that.

A competent right back and no more but Posh will have to be ok with that, they will need him going forward as well and will have to trust he can do the defensive job required, a much different task than at Ipswich so I would expect Ferguson to go back to a four. Photo: Joe Dent
6. OLIVER NORBURN
Posh need his willingness and energy in the press and the tackle. A valuable asset as long as he is not let down by useless referees handing out unnecessary cards. Photo: Joe Dent
7. JACK TAYLOR
A slight move backwards, not a criticism of him but I don't think you need Norburn and Kyprianou in this one. Photo: Joe Dent
8. EPHRON MASON-CLARK
When he plays well, Posh do well. He is so important to how Posh play and will need to get involved to get Posh into the play-offs. Photo: Joe Dent
