Peterborough United midfielder suffers international defeat

Peterborough United star Jack Taylor played 90 minutes of Ireland’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Iceland in a European Under 21 Championship qualifier in Dublin today (November 15).

Ireland are now third in their group ahead of their final qualifying game in Luxembourg on Wednesday (November 18).

Taylor should be back in time to play for Posh against Blackpool in a League One fixture at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday.
