Peterborough United looking forward to their toughest summer test
Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson is looking forward to a tough test when Championship side Coventry City visit the Weston Homes Stadium for the final pre-season match of the summer tomorrow (August 28).
Posh are expected to field latest signing Jonson Clarke-Harris in one of two 90-minute matches which kick-off at 1pm and 3.20pm behind closed doors.

After the game Posh will build-up preparations for the opening comptitive match of the season at home to Cheltenham Town in the Carabao Cup on September 5.
“This will be our toughest test of the summer,” Ferguson said. “And that’s how we designed it. We wanted the last game to be against the best side we would face and Coventry were an excellent side last season who have strengthened their squad ahead of the Championship season.
“Most players will get 90 minutes each, but a couple might only get 45 minutes.
“After this game and training next week it’s then all guns blazing as matches will be coming thick and fast.
“We are 95% there with the squad. We have four excellent strikers, five if Ivan Toney stays, and they will all complement each other.”
Ex-Posh striker Matt Godden could be back at London Road with Coventry.
