Here, the Peterborough Telegraph takes a look at how each fared.
There are success stories as well as failures with plenty of injury woes too unfortunately.
Of this list, David Ajiboye, Kabongo Tshimanga, Aaron Powell and Romoney Crichlow have already left the club.

5. Kabongo Tshimanga (Swindon)
Made somewhat of an impression in League Two after offering very little at Posh and a previous loan spell at Swindon. He finally scored his first Football League goal for the Robins after 24 previous attempts. He was a starter for most of the season and scored 11 league goals in 39 matches (25 starts). In April, he scored in four matches in a row. 44 matches, 13 goals, 3 assists. Photo: Joe Dent

6. Joe Andrews (Chippenham)
Posh signed the 19-year-old on Deadline Day in February but allowed him to complete the season in the National League South. He helped his side finish 14th. The centre-midfielder appeared 36 times and provided five assists. He remains a Wales U19 international and he was named Chippenham's Young Player of the Season before linking up with Posh. 36 games, 5 assists. Photo: Joe Dent

7. Ollie Rose (Scunthorpe)
The young defender was sent to National League North side Scunthorpe United to gain vital experience in January. He found a home in their side at right back and made a strong impression at Glanford Park as the Iron ultimately won promotion via the play-offs. He was present for the celebrations but was not on the pitch as injury ruined the end of his season. He missed the last seven games and the play-off campaign with an injury. 12 games, 3 assists. 8. Pemi Aderoju (Boston and Farnborough)
The 20-year-old striker started the season on loan at Boston in the National League well and left well before their miraculous revival. He played 22 times in the National League but only eight times from the start and managed just one goal. With his game time becoming limited, Posh sent him down a level to Farnborough in the National League South but he managed just one substitute appearance before a serious hamstring injury ended his season.
