Peterborough United have signed a long-term transfer target from Wrexham
Peterborough United have completed the signing of long-term transfer target Harry Ashfield from Wrexham on a permanent deal.
The 20 year-old was at the 0-0 League One draw with Stevenage at the Weston Homes Stadium on Tuesday night when he completed his medical. He has signed a three-year contract after the clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.

Posh were first linked with Ashfield in May after the midfielder became disillusioned with the lack of first team opportunities in North Wales. He has made just one Football League appearance as a substitute for Wrexham. He also made eight appearances in knockout matches scoring twice.
Ashfield spent part of last season on loan at League Two side Cheltenham Town, scoring twice in 17 appearances.

He was called into the Wales Under 21 squad for the first time earlier this year.
Ashfield said: "It has been a crazy 24 hours and I am delighted it is over the line. The way that the club is run and how they view young players, I am absolutely delighted to be here.
"This club gives young players opportunity, I can't wait to get started and to show the fans what I am about. I spoke to a few of the players that have played here before like Jack Marriott about the club and they were really positive so now it is about looking forward to getting on the training pitch with the lads,"
