Posh director of football Barry Fry said: “We’ve been turning bids down, left, right and centre all summer, but there has been no attempt to cash in by the owners because they and the manager are on the same page. They want promotion above all else this season.
"Of course ridiculous offers could work, but there has been no sign of that sort of bid so I fully expect us to start the season with the squad currently in the building.
"We have good players here who have attracted sizeable bids, some of more than a million pounds, but none have interested us.
“We do tell the players when someone comes in for them and the bid has been rejected and to be honest all of them understand what’s going on. The players are also fully committed to us getting to the Championship.”

5. RONNIE EDWARDS
It was assumed by many that this classy teenage defender would be sold for huge money this summer, especially after he helped England win the Under 19 European Championships, but he's still here. Premier League clubs Spurs, Southampton, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have been the keenest to land the 19 year-old, and this week the PT disclosed Manchester City had been on the phone. As with Harrison Burrows, so far only offers which involve Edwards playing under 21 club football next season have arrived and a fee dependent largely on progress is not suitable for Posh, while the player reportedly wants to continue in competitive men's football. The PT understands Edwards wants to stay in England which rules out a move to RB Leipzig, Borrusia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt who had also been linked with the centre-back. Posh have mentioned a club record transfer package of £15 million is needed to prise Edwards away which doesn't seem likely right now. Edwards has three years left on his Posh contract. 6. JACK TAYLOR
Posh slapped a £10 million price tag when League One promotion favourites Ipswich Town were linked with this midfielder. No confirmation of an Ipswich bid was ever received and at the asking price it's unlikely it will ever arrive. Taylor cost Peterborough £500,000 when they bought him from Barnet in January, 2020. Earlier this summer Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony claimed he'd rejected a seven-figure offer for this aggressive midfielder withiout even asking the buying club's identity.
